We're almost ready. PK Curryhouse Food Truck is coming soon to Sami Quick Stop — be the first to know.
Our Story

From Kathmandu to Youngstown.

We didn't open Sami Quick Stop because we wanted a corner store. We opened it because we wanted a kitchen — and a way to feed our new neighbors the food we grew up eating thousands of miles away.

The momos are folded the way our mother folded them. The achar is ground the way our father ground it. The chatpate is mixed the way every kitchen back home mixes it: bold, tangy, spicy, alive — and not a single shortcut.

We've been prepping behind the scenes for a while now — sourcing spices, dialing in recipes, and getting the truck ready. When we park the PK Curryhouse Food Truck out front of Sami Quick Stop, we want Youngstown to taste Nepali food the way it was meant to be served.

Thank you for being early. We're cooking for you.

Why Nepali food. Why now.

Nepali cooking sits between India, Tibet, and the Himalayas — lighter than what you've had at most South Asian spots, smokier than Chinese, deeper than Thai. It's mountain food. It's family food. It's the kind of meal that warms you from the chest out, especially in a Youngstown winter. And until now, you couldn't get it here. That's why we're here.

Be first in line.

We're almost ready to open. Drop your number and we'll text you the moment the truck rolls — we'd love to feed you on day one.
